About Us
Founded in 2008, DOGS ON CALL is an Easter Seals Alabama non-profit organization that supports, trains, organizes, and certifies dogs and their handlers to perform multiple services.

Therapy Dogs
Therapy Dogs are trained and certified to provide comfort and/or assistance in a variety of activities. Therapy Dogs are handled by their owners, who are typically volunteers.

Volunteer!
DOGS ON CALL is a volunteer-driven organization. In addition to becoming a volunteer handler as part of a certified Therapy Dog team, there are several volunteer opportunities available with DOGS ON CALL.

Charity
Your charitable donation allows the DOC to provide training for Therapy Dog teams and will impact many lives, including residents of nursing and assisted living facilities, people living with disabilities, at-risk, and those who are coping with severe stress and trauma.
